actualy I had rather it not have the abalone. I think the wood stand well by its self but I had a customer that just had to have this guitar and had to have paua abalone top purfling. The customer is never wrong they say |

The wood looks wonderful on it's own, be more forceful with your customers tell them your a great artist and should have a free hand with their money! ![]() Colin |

Michael, i remember you saying that the market in your area is rather small but i'm sure you could ask a bit more for such a beautiful instrument, i'm sure your background as an engineer helps you make quality instruments and i would not even be shy to ask $3k right today for this one. I'm not saying this so you justify your pricing here, i'm just telling you that to my newb eyes, it's even worth more than $3k! ![]() |

Well I know it on the low side but keep in mind this was a fix of erorent side assembly to start with. Plus I had planed it to be a kick around and not for sale after I cut the blocks and sides down, so I put a one piece CNC'd mohogany neck on it so I really don't feel it is in the 3k range. Thanks for the kodos anyway |
